1. INTRODUCTION: The Army Contracting Command, 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) Europe - Theater Contracting Center (TCC) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement to provide supplemental maintenance and repair services of U.S. Government-owned special purpose vehicles and trailers to include the provision for repair/spare parts. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Except for emergency towing services and repairs, the contractor shall perform the required services at their own facility which shall be in a radius of 20 km of Kaiserslautern, Germany. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than five (5) pages in length. The deadline for response to this request is no later than 07 MAY 2019. All responses to this Sources Sought shall be emailed to John Sarver, Contract Specialist; john.j.sarver.civ@mail.mil and Luke Maloney, Contracting Officer, luke.m.maloney.civ@mail.mil. The responses shall contain the following information: a. Your organization name, address, and contact information (title, email and telephone number of a designated point of contact) b. CAGE Code and DUNS Number The response must address the following items: 1.) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement? 2.) Can or has your company managed a task of this nature? If so, please provide details. 3.) Can or has your company managed a team of subcontractors before? If so, provide details. 4.) Can your company manage the requirements listed above? Please feel free to add any additional information you believe that the Government needs to consider as a solution to fulfill this requirement. Your responses may be used to further evaluate and/or refine our requirement. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government. No phone calls will be accepted. All questions must be submitted to the contract specialist identified above. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought.
