The Government is posting this Request for Information (RFI) to get a better understanding of the capabilities of industry. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP or RFQ in the future. The Government intends to solicit requirements at a future date for the D-Day 80 Ceremony that will be held in Normandy, France between the months of May and June 2024. The Government has attached a spreadsheet “Government Questions to Industry” with questions that industry is requested to provide responses to that will not be made public but may use as market research to help support the Government’s acquisition strategy .Industry is requested to provide response to the to the questions on the spreadsheet named " Governemnet RFIs To Industry " no later than October 2nd, 2023 and regarding the other spreadsheet name "Industry Questions to Government ", questions will be answered until October 12, 2023. To assist vendors in their responses to the posted questions early drafts of drawings and Performance work statements (PWS) for all sites (American Cemetery, St. Mere Eglise, Omaha, and Carentan) , Catering and Transportation PWSs are also posted with this RFI. Vendors are encouraged to review the draft documents posted with this RFI and use the “Industry Questions to Government” to submit questions, comments, or feedback to the Government. Any feedback provided by industry may be considered by the Government in their final requirement. All questions submitted to the Government using the spreadsheet “Industry Questions to Government” will be responded to a posted as an update to this posting so all information from the Government is public. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ, if any are issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
