Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) has a requirement for Dozers (6) and a Scraper- TEAD is requesting a lease period of 4 years. Equipment required to complete this mission is as follows: Six (6)- D8T Dozers Rated power has to be at 354 HHP Displacement has to be at 15.2L Draw Bar Pull has to be at 148,200 @2.2mph Blade capacity has to be at 13.4 yds cubed Hydraulic assisted belly pans Reverse fans 3 rippers on rear Operating weight not to exceed 93,000 lbs Ground pressure 12.5 Scraper - twin-engine scraper that will allow loading of material without assistance of a dozer. A dozer can be used in hard conditions. Minimum requirements: 24 cubic yard hopper, Twin motor push/pull, self-loading. Paddle Wheel option it obtain self-loading if necessary. Maintenance Package: Complete maintenance package to include PM service at 250 hour service intervals. A short training (8 hours) is required for TEAD's licensed heavy equipment operators. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions ONLY.
