The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12.603, Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items. A single firm-fixed priced award will be made to the responsive, responsible, lowest priced offeror. This synopsis/solicitation contains a 100% Option Quantity, to be evaluated at time of award. 2. Request for Quote (RFQ) W52P1J22QALUM is for the procurement of the following: CLIN 0001: 21,000 lbs Aluminum Powder, Type II, Grade C, Class 5, in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 0002 – MIL-DTL-512 Revision D dated 23 March 2018. A Certified Material Test Report is required with each lot. QUANTITY UNITS UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE 21,000 POUNDS ___________ ____________ CLIN 1001: 100% OPTION 21,000 lbs Aluminum Powder, Type II, Grade C, Class 5, in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 0002 – MIL-DTL-512 Revision D dated 23 March 2018. All unit prices must be submitted to two (2) decimal places. 3. This requirement is issued as a Full & Open procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 325180. Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. Requested Delivery Schedule: Production Quantity of 21,000 pounds shall be delivered 30 days After First Article Test Approval. See FAR 52.211-8 TIME OF DELIVERY. 5. The Government will evaluate quotes based on the Total Evaluated Price quoted, and any other price related factors required by the RFQ. The Total Price for each CLIN is calculated by multiplying the quantity times the Unit Price. Prices to be submitted at the CLIN Level. The 100% Option Quantity will be evaluated at time of award. The 100% Option Quantity is calculated by multiplying the quantity times the Unit Price. The Total Evaluated Price is the sum of the Total Prices for each CLIN, including the 100% Option Quantity. 6. This contract is a rated order under Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) (15 CFR 700) with an assigned rating of DO-A6. 7.
