McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) requests a firm-fixed-price purchase order with L3 Harris Incorporated for a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) tower and site. MCAAP requires L3 Harris to provide a LMR tower and the necessary site preparation, which includes a 100-foot gravel access road leading to a fenced area. Additionally, L3 Harris will be required to install lighting, gravel and concrete foundations and pads, and an 11’ X 16’ equipment shelter. This project includes installation of L3 Harris’ high elevation self-supporting tower and antennae’s for the LMR radio. The four-channel tower will connect to MCAAP’s current network via the site access router, thus interfacing with the VIDA premier core at the network switching center via fiber-optic circuits to the wireless access network (WAN) aggression switch. This site and tower will provide radio frequency coverage to several dead spots near grid coordinate 34-52-31.7 N, 95-56-21.8 on the installation, and will provide security forces, emergency and rail workers with communication with the installation.
