The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island, on behalf of the Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W52P1J-20-R-0025, for the procurement and delivery of Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant products to include diesel, motor gasoline, and propane. This effort will be solicited as full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 324199, All Other Petroleum and Coal Products Manufacturing. The Government contemplates the award of up to four (4) Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contracts using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2. The estimated release date for the RFP will be on or around 23 April 2021 (Please Note: This is an anticipated date and is subject to change. The RFP could be released before or after 23 April 2021). The closing date/date for receipt of offers will be specified on the final RFP, however it is estimated the RFP will close 30 days after issuance. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFP. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting: https://www.acquisition.gov. This notice does not constitute official release of the RFP. The Government reserves the right not to issue an RFP or to issue the RFP different than stated above; vendors and potential offerors are cautioned to review this website for official notices regarding this acquisition and release of the RFP; offeror responses to this notice will not be treated as formal proposal submissions.
