As a result of questions being submitted, the following information is being provided: Current Contract Number: W52P1J-14-D-0019 Task Order 0002 Current Contractor: SAIC (formerly Engility) The following two questions and answers revolve around Questions # six and seven set forth in the original notification Q1. The sources sought seeks to identify contractor approaches that will align the army acquisition and IT management with DoD strategy - including small business strategy. Is this primarily related to small business contracting goals, or is it also inclusive of overarching DoD IT policy? A1. The SB strategy is inclusive of the overarching DoD IT policy. Q2. It also seeks to identify a contractor's unique experience related to acquisition and program management streamlining approaches, and how this impacts cost effectiveness. Is this referring to cost effectiveness at the overarching program management level (as a contractor) or, is it related to streamlining approaches during the acquisition process, and obtaining cost effectiveness in IT products/enhancements recommended/procured under this requirement? A2. LMP is looking for the contractor to support LMP's goals in managing cost effectiveness with Army SAP ERP programs.
