This Request is for planning purposes, and shall not be construed as a solicitation announcement, invitation for bids, request for proposals, request for quotes, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. Interested contractors are invited to provide responses to the questions provided. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with the submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to the interested parties for responses. This Request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. The information provided may be used by the Army in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work / performance work statements, and/or statement of objectives. Interested parties are responsible to adequately mark proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response accordingly. Note. We are currently in the process of crafting attachments that will accompany these documents; however, we are eager to seek industries feedback at the earliest stages and continuously throughout the development. The Government is conducting an Industry Engagement Event, January 29-30, 2024 at LMI Headquarters, 7940 Jones Branch Drive, Tysons, VA 22102 which will consist of an overview of the potential requirements and one-on-one industry engagement sessions. In-person space is limited but virtual attendance is encouraged. If you would like to attend and would like to schedule a brief one-on-one discussion with the Government during the event, please send requests to usarmy.ria.acc.mbx.gps@army.mil NTL 1000 Central Time on January 15, 2024 with a proposed duration and, if possible, any specific topics to be discussed, not to exceed 30 minutes per company. Note: The Government is seeking feedback from industry on the quality of its Section L (Instructions to Offerors) and Section M (Evaluation Factors for Award) approaches. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes to determine the availability of qualified sources capable of providing armed security guard services within any of the following Combatant Commands’ (COCOMs) Areas of Responsibility (AORs): AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, INDO-PACOM, and SOUTHCOM THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research request is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the USG to form a binding contract. The information provided in this Sources Sought is subject to change and is not binding on the USG. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Please clearly identify any information your company considers proprietary. No classified, confidential, or sensitive information shall be included in a response to this Sources Sought. Contractors shall provide all mobilization, demobilization, management, and supervision of armed security guards in multiple locations. 3. Please include any locations your company has relevant experience and a brief description of the experience.
