North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325180 - Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing. The Government will issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) solicitation for procurement of 37,000 pounds of Tungsten Metal Powder under a firm-fixed-price stand-alone contract with no option provision to procure additional quantities. Interested sources must be able to supply the required product in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation 252.225-7052 and Army Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (AFARS) 252.225-7003 and AFARS 252.225-7008. The RFQ will include a Statement of Work attachment and will also specify required technical documentation requirements from sources who respond to the RFQ. This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. FOB Destination McAlester OK 74501. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/ or contact SAM at 866-606-8220 prior to doing business with the DOD. Approximate issue date of the RFQ is 19 September 2022 with a closing date approximately 7 to 14 days from the date of issue. The RFQ shall be posted for downloading via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the RFQ shall also be posted to the FBO web site. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check the websites daily for any posted changes.
