Tooele ARMY Depot (TEAD) has a requirement for Two (2) each earth moving solutions for a twelve (12) month term. Lease for two each BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Caterpillar Wheel Tractor Scraper in strict accordance with ALL Salient Characteristics listed below: Minimum 24 cubic yard hopper Twin engine push/pull arrangement Solution must be complete and not require a separate support machine – only one operator. Solutions equipped with engines will need to come with reversing fans, pre-cleaners in the intake and the cab filters due to the environmental working conditions on the range. Solutions equipped with engines must be diesel fuel only. Solutions equipped with engines must have 120 volt block heaters and or other cold weather packages for temperatures down to -40 degrees F. Road Lights, head lights, working lights and back-up lights for dark conditions. Solution must have complete maintenance package onsite service as required and periodic maintenance. Solutions with operator cabs must have HVAC system. Machines must have less than 4000 hours and be manufactured later than 2012 TEAD intends to use its own heavy equipment operators. Daily Maintenance of Tractors: Topping of Oils, Coolant, Grease and Normal Operator Daily Maintenance is the responsibility of Tooele Army Depot (TEAD). Machines will be serviced by equipment provider. Both machines to be delivered to TEAD South Range. Complete maintenance package to include PM Service At 250 hour service intervals. – Or as required by provider if less.
