Army Contracting Command – Rock Island is seeking companies that have manufactured the plastic components MJU-67 or MJU-75 Countermeasure Flares, and had those components successfully used in passing Government end-item testing for the MJU-67 or MJU-75 Countermeasure Flares. The three (3) relevant plastic parts for the MJU-67B are: Igniter Top - in accordance with Drawing 3904AS106, Rev B – MJU-67/B Igniter Top, and Drawing 3677AS121, Rev B - Zytel Resin GF Nylon End Cap – in accordance with Drawing 3953AS109 – MJU-67/B End Cap Cartridge Retainer – in accordance with Drawing 3928AS111, Rev D – MJU-67/B Cartridge Retainer, and Drawing 3928AS132 Rev C - Noryl Resin The five (5) relevant plastic parts for the MJU-75B are: Igniter Top – in accordance with Drawing 20141634 – MJU-75/B Igniter Top, and Drawing 20156941 – Nylon Resin Igniter Bottom - in accordance with Drawing 201416435 – MJU-75/B Igniter Bottom, and Drawing 20156941 – Nylon Resin Slider - in accordance with Drawing 201416437 – MJU-75/B Slider, and Drawing 201556941, Nylon Resin PE Interface Cover - in accordance with Drawing 201719313 – MJU-75/B Interface Cover End Cap - in accordance with Drawing 241416441 – MJU-75/B End Cap, and Drawing 201416461 – Polyphenylene Oxide, Modified Interested parties that have manufactured these plastic components for the MJU-67 or MJU-75 Countermeasure Flares, and have had those components successfully used in passing Government end-item testing should at minimum provide the following information: -Company Name and Address -Point of Contact, including phone and email address -Cage Code -Capability Statement, including specific information about manufacturing and successful end-item testing of the MJU-67 and MJU-75 countermeasure flares The above information should be sent electronically via email to both: Contract Specialist: jason.a.martin92.civ@mail.mil Contracting Officer: cindy.k.wagoner.civ@mail.mil Please include “MJU-67 and MJU-75 Sources Sought – Response - [Insert Company Name]” within the Subject line.
