This is a Sources Sought Notice to procure Gamma Radiation Sterilization Services for bio-consumable products to support Pine Bluff Arsenal. The radiation treatment process is required to be conducted right after production within 24 hours. Any delay in radiation treatment would degrade the product and have an adverse effect on the product’s ability to detect biological agents. Bio-consumable products require different levels of Gamma radiation. Sterilization services will be spread across the following item types: Liquid – Type I; Sample Bottle – Type II; Dry Collection –Type IV; Detergent Pack –Type V. The number of cases may differ depending on production runs at Pine Bluff Arsenal. The Government intends to award a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The NAICS code is 541380 with a size standard of $16,500,000. Request contractors provide information that includes details on how this requirement can be fulfilled. This Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research or otherwise pay for information solicited. The Government will utilize the information provided for planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of its market research.
