The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC-RI) has a requirement for Magnesium Carbonate, Grade B, USP Heavy Basic, Product 320-S or Equal, with bulk density of 0.25 GR per CC to 0.60 GR per CC. Must be packaged in 50 LB moisture barrier lined bags and bags will be palletized. Product must be in accordance with MIL-DTL-11361E dated 13 June 2007 and drawing 143-2-9K dated 15 November 2018 which has a restricted distribution statement. Contractors are required to have an active registration in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access this drawing. Magnesium Carbonate is used in end items for the M18 & M83 Smoke Grenades and M8 Smoke Pot in support of Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR, and it is FOB Destination. This procurement is for 80,000 lbs and it is a firm-fixed price, full and open competition, and it is subject to the Trade Agreements Act.
