The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek out qualified vendors who have experience providing Excavators and Trailers. This announcement is in support of market research performed by the Army Contract Command - Rock Island to determine interest and capability to provide the supply delineated within this RFI. This RFI is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow-up information request. Consequently, no solicitation is being issued at this time. Therefore, no award will be made as a result of providing this information. Currently, Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) has a requirement for a Steel Tracked Excavator and Trailer. Vendors interested in this proposed acquisition must meet the criteria for Federal Supply Code (FSC), 3805 - Construction, Mining, Excavating, and Highway Maintenance Equipment, and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423810, Construction and Mining (except oil well) Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. It is anticipated that subsequent procurement will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Awardee must supply both the Excavator and the Trailer. All deliveries will be on an FOB Destination basis.
