SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION FOR PRODUCTS TEMPLATE INTRODUCTION The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to provide the following: Pull Tab, made of 3M 434 prelinered tape 2-3/4 inch wide laminated (one edge) w/2 mil matte finish poly for tab ¾ inch wide. Butt cut 2 inch long (+/- 1/16 inch) and reroll onto 3 inch dia cores. After the pull tab is formed and the tape is but-cut, a 2.00 x 2.00 minimum adhesive area must remain. Tape, Foil, 3M, 434 Vibration Damping only, silver, laser die cut, 6"x6" inch squares Polyethylene Liner The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered.
