This Request for Information is for the following: Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) Robot Salient Characteristics: The Robot must be able to apply Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) Silicone to include Shin-etsu, BOSS315, Dowell 832 and Momentive 167. It must be able to apply a consistent and repeatable 1/8" bead of RTV Silicone to each of a 15 part (3 x 5) cluster that has a linear distance of approximately 5.8" in 30 seconds per part. The Robot must be 3 axis programmable. The work envelope must be a minimum of Length (X) 19.5" x Width (Y) 19.5" x Height (Z) 5.9" of travel. The Z Height clearance must be 9" or be able to be adjusted by adding extension bracketing to attain 9" of Tip clearance. The computer used for programming must be stand alone. It cannot be a requirement to connected to the Internet or have wireless connection. The injection application device must be able to apply a variety of RTV. The system must be able to start and stop the flow of RTV without dripping. The equipment must have on-site training and installation support, along with future distance phone support. The item must be easy to clean and to have replaceable, consumable tips, syringe type tubes for dispensing and be easy to load/fill from 10 ounce cartridges.
