Answer 1: Please refer to the Material Certification Test Report Paragraph. A Material Certification is required with each delivery including the First Article Testing quantity. Crane Army Ammunition Activity will do FAT inspection/acceptance. Question 2: If the contractor is to provide the FAT Report what is to be reported? Answer 2: The Contractor does not provide a FAT Report. The Contractor is only responsible for testing the material to ensure it meets A-A-59136, Class 4, Grade D, Type 1 and providing the Material Certification Report with each delivery. Question 3: Where are CLIN's 1001 and 1002 to be accepted to start the Production run lead time clock? Answer 3: Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) will inspect the FAT quantities upon delivery. Once CAAA accepts the FAT quantities and alerts the Contract Specialist, the Contract Specialist will notify the Contractor. This starts the Production Quantity lead time clock described in the Delivery and Location Paragraph.
