The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, a quantity of 900 tons of Barium Sulfate/Barite to support the 155MM M1122 training projectile program. Delivery will be to Crane Army Ammunition Command, Crane, Indiana. Award will be made to New Riverside Ochre Company in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). New Riverside Ochre Company is the only acceptable source for this requirement, due to the origin of the barite. This announcement is issued for notification purposes only.
