This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement of 16 Twin Extra Long (XL) Mattresses for the Fire Department at the Rock Island Arsenal, in accordance with Attachment 0001 - Purchase Description. This combined synopsis solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. The resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The U.S. Government intends to make a single award to the Offeror providing the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote determined responsible in accordance with FAR 9. The Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the quotes, prices submitted, and the availability of funds. Request for Quote (RFQ) W52P1J-19-T-AT93 will be firm fixed price and in accordance with the provisions and clauses included in Attachment 0002. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror that provides the minimum material submission requirements as outlined FAR Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items under paragraph B. Technical - Sub Factor 1 and Sub Factor 2 in Attachment 0002 Contract Clauses and Provisions. Contractors shall submit prices for mattresses listed in Attachment 0001 to be considered for award.
