U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) has a requirement for the manufacturing of the Terephthalic Acid. The maximum production requirements for the Terephthalic Acid is estimated not to exceed 150,000 lbs. per year. This procurement will result in a sole source award to Mil-Spec Industries under NAICS code 325180, with a small business classification size of 1000 employees or less. In accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(2), it has been determined that Mil-Spec Industries is the only contractor capable of providing Terephthalic Acid in accordance with the required military specifications. A five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. F.O.B. Destination. ACC-RI intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ), W52P1J-19-T-3031 to Mil-Spec Industries on or about April 11, 2019. Please Note: This notice does not constitute an RFQ.
