The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of the Joint Munitions Command intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-19-R-0069 for the operation and maintenance of the Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) for Fiscal year 2021 through 2030. HWAD is a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated facility located in Hawthorne, NV. In addition to the operation and maintenance, the operating contractor will be required to provide numerous base support operations (e.g., safety, security, demilitarization). ACC-RI intends to conduct a best value subjective tradeoff source selection to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price contract consisting of a base period with five, one-year ordering periods; a three-year evaluated option with one-year ordering periods; and a two-year evaluated option with one-year ordering periods. This synopsis does not constitute a RFP, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes.
