Synopsis: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis for the below stated requirements in support of and on behalf of the United States Army. Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA)/Reagan Test Site (RTS), the Army Contracting Command-Rock Island requires Security and Access Control Support. The Government contemplates the award of a single award hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) arrangement. The solicitation number for this requirement is W52P1J-19-R-0060. The contractor shall perform the required functions of the Performance Work Statement to include physical security, access control, and assistance to the Provost Marshal Office. The contractor shall not perform functions that are inherently governmental. This effort will be conducted as a set-aside for 8(a) firms under FAR Part 19. The respective NAICS for this effort is 561612, with a small business size standard of $20.5M. The estimated release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is on or about 10 March 2020 (note that this is an anticipated date and is subject to change and the RFP could be released before or after 10 March 2020). The closing date/date for receipt of offers will be specified on the final RFP, however an anticipated schedule of Milestone events is listed below.
