The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek out qualified vendors who have experience manufacturing Warhead Stop Product Number (PN), 13654249 for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) PA150 Container. This announcement is in support of market research performed by the Army Contract Command - Rock Island to determine interest and capability to provide the supply defined within this RFI. This RFI is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow-up information request. Consequently, no solicitation is being issued at this time. Therefore, no award will be made as a result of providing this information. Blue Grass Army Depot has a requirement for Warhead Stop PN 13654249. Vendors interested in this proposed acquisition must meet the criteria for Federal Supply Code (FSC) 8140 - Ammunition and Nuclear Ordnance Boxes, and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 3261999 - All Other Plastic Product Manufacturing. It is anticipated that subsequent procurement will be a firm-fixed-price contract. All deliveries will be on an FOB Destination basis. Market research has found that only one source is capable to produce the High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Warhead Stop component at this time. Therefore, the Government is requesting that vendors answer the attached questions to determine if they can meet the Governments Specifications. CLIN 0001-0002 to include Silicone Rubber Components, Forward Pad, and Aft Pad for housing the Army's newly acquired Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) Guided Rocket, a member of the Hydra family of tactical rockets, for end use at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) in Richmond, Kentucky. CLIN's 0001-0002 will consist of the following components: CLIN 0001, Forward Pad and CLIN 0002 AFT Pad. This procurement action will be 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, and will be a firm fixed price type contract.
