Sources Sought Potable Water Services Military Ocean Terminal Concord, California This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is utilizing a Sources Sought for Market Research to determine if other vendors have the capability to fulfill the requirement. This is strictly for Information (RFI) for Potable Water Services at the Military Ocean Terminal Concord, California (MOTCO). No Request for Proposal (RFP) exists; therefore, responses to the Request for Information (RFI) are not proposals to which ACC-RI can issue orders. ACC-RI is issuing this RFI to determine if an adequate of qualified interested contractors are capable of Potable Water Services at MOTCO described below. The Government will use the responses received for information/planning purpose and to identify potential sources as part of market research. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Water service shall be provided in accordance with Army regulations, the State of California, and Contra Costa County rules and regulations for the provision of water service. 2. PREMISES TO BE SERVED Entire base for MOTCO @ Concord. 3. POINT OF DELIVERY The point of delivery of water shall be at meters located along Port Chicago Highway which is Contra Costa Water District's distribution points. 4. NATURE OF SERVICE OR CHANGE Furnish domestic water system to provide treated potable water to entire MOTCO installation. 5. ESTIMATED SERVICE Estimated daily maximum demand: 52,600 gal per day Estimated annual flow: 19.2 million gallons (The government is in no way obligated to delivery nor is it restricted to the above estimate) All information received in response to the RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI.
