The contractor is responsible for maintaining APS-4 at Camp Carroll, Waegwan, Korea, and Sagami General Depot, Japan. APS-4 consists of prepositioned sets, operational project stocks, sustainment stocks, activity sets and watercraft. Its primary purpose is to reduce the initial amount of strategic airlift required to support a continental U.S. based force projection for the Army and to sustain soldiers until sea lines of communications are established. The APS-4 program is a service provided under the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) program which is an Army preferred source. The class J&A for this action was previously posted on 13 September 2022 under the Army Prepositioned Stocks - 3 (APS-3) notification (notice ID: W52P1J-12-G-0061_0002). As such, the J&A will not be reposted as part of this notification.
