The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Amentum Services Inc. in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements. This notice is intended for subcontracting opportunities only, it is not a request for competitive proposals. The previously extended contract period of performance consisted of an approximate 6-month extension, with one twelve-month option period, and one 5-month option period, of the EAGLE Army Prepositioned Stocks – 5 contract W52P1J-12-G-0028/0003; to extend services until the competitive follow-on contract is awarded and transition is complete. This proposed contract will be to award the first twelve-month option period (21 November 2024 – 20 November 2025) of the above period of performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this announcement is 561210 – Facilities support services with a size standard of $41.5 Million. The estimated award date for this proposed action no later than October 18, 2024.
