Freedom Line Natural Gas Pipeline
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research for the construction of the Freedom Line Natural Gas Pipeline, an approximately 4.2-mile transmission line to supply natural gas from the San Juan LNG terminal to the Palo Seco Power Plant in Puerto Rico. The scope involves comprehensive construction services including trenchless and open-trench pipeline installation, sitework, and coordination in a fast-track environment. This is a sources sought notice only, not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from this process. The government is seeking to identify capable and interested contractors, including various small business categories, to inform its acquisition strategy. Responses are voluntary and must be limited to ten pages, demonstrating the firm's capabilities and experience with comparable projects.
