This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This requirement is to provide turn-key design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating, installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for one (1) each Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) 12kW Fiber Laser Cutting Machine at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) in Tobyhanna, PA 18466. The Contractor shall supply all materials, supplies, freight, delivery, tools, equipment, consumables, labor, and supervision for the machine. The Contractor shall also disconnect and remove an existing carbon dioxide laser machine and transport it another building/location on site. See attached DRAFT Solicitation W25G1V-25-Q-0070 and DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for complete requirement details. A Pre-solicitation meeting with Industry will be held on August 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM EST. Please notify the Contract Specialist if you are able to attend so you can be added to the MS Teams/Call Number meeting invite. Request for Quote (RFQ), W25G1V-25-Q-0070, will be issued on or about August 20, 2025. Actual issue and due dates shall be established in the solicitation. The RFQ will be available for download on the https://www.sam.gov website. In order to be eligible for award, the prospective offeror must have a current and active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) website, https://www.sam.gov and not show any Active Exclusions or have any Debt Subject to Offset. The Offeror must be found to be responsible in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.1 – Responsibility of Prospective Contractors. Any responsible firms believing they can provide the required machine should, within twelve (12) days of this notice, contact in writing the Contract Specialist identified below and submit a capability statement describing their firm’s capability to meet the Government’s requirement which will be reviewed for consideration.
