The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation on or around November 4, 2026 for a firm-fixed-price contract for concrete pads in Buildings 220 and 299 at the Rock Island Arsenal – Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). A pre-construction site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM Central Time on November 10, 2026 at RIA-JMTC; attendees will park in lot B212 on the south side of the JMTC complex and meet Government representatives at the turnstile. All attendees must wear steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses, and site visit reservations are mandatory at least one business day in advance, even for those with badge access. Vendors without RIA access must follow the visitor access process on the RIA visitor information page, and the point of contact is Contract Specialist Leigh Weeks. The solicitation will be issued electronically via SAM.gov, and interested parties should monitor for any amendments.
