Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential SAM Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. NAICS CODE: 332812 Metal Coating, Engraving (except Jewelry and Silverware), and Allied Services to Manufacturers PSC: 3426 Metal Finishing Equipment SIZE STANDARD: DESCRIPTION OF WORK: M1 Closing Discs Quantity: 9,744 each M1 Closing Discs Quantity: 3,248 each M1 Canister Assembly Quantity: 9,744 each M2 Canister Assembly Quantity: 3,248 each M1 and M2 Closing Discs shall get cleaned per TT-C-490/ Zinc Phosphate all over. Type Z CL3, with one application coat of phenolic baking varnish to the inside only. M1 and M2 Canister Assembly get abrasive blasted (only if needed to remove weld slag), cleaned, Zinc Phosphate and Type Z CL3 all over. One application coat of phenolic baking varnish, Type II to the inside of the canister and OD and ID of the inner tube. *Acid cleaning shall NOT be used. All material certifications, salt spray results and process controls used will be provided.
