The Government will provide Charcoal to the Awardee, who will grind the charcoal to specifications laid out in the forthcoming solicitation. ITEM: Powdered charcoal to AA 59138 Class D 25 September 1998 (Lump Charcoal GFM) SCOPE: This purchase description covers the requirements for ground powered charcoal made from American hardwood lump charcoal that will be Government Furnished Material (GFM). The Charcoal should specifically have a low ash content as defined below and be free of any contamination. Only Charcoal that is GFM is to be used for the grinding feedstock.
