This pre-solicitation synopsis is notice in accordance with FAR 13.105, Synopsis and Posting Requirements, is to notify the public that a solicitation will be forthcoming for CNC TURNING CENTER. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract at the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). This requirement will be full and open, NAICS code 333517, PSC code 3416. The vendor shall be responsible for the provision and the installation of the equipment. The turning center shall have X, Z and Y axis capabilities with live tooling. The turning center shall include a long boring bar attachment for long boring bar capabilities. The solution shall include any and all necessary auxiliary equipment or attachments to create a safe functioning system that complies with all applicable standards. All details will be in the solicitation itself. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or around 30 Jan 2024. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided, although may be downloaded on or after the issue date by accessing beta.SAM.gov. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain an interested party list, therefore, it is recommended that any interested parties periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and respond to them prior to the date and time set may render your quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the Government. **Please note, this is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will be posted on or around 30 Jan 2024 that will have all the necessary specifications.
