The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on behalf of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), is seeking potential sources who can provide 168,903 lbs of Isophorone Diisocyanate (IPDI) to support production at the plant. Four shipments of 35,280 lbs each and one shipment of 27,783 lbs is anticipated. NAICS Code is 325199 – All Other Basic Organic Chemical Manufacturing, size standard 1,250 employees and the Product Service Code is 6810 - Chemicals. Isophorone Diisocyanate must be in accordance with Military Specification MIL-DTL-82886A. Within the Military Specification, vendors shall conform to all references made to Weapon Specification WS16305C, dated 1 Jul 77, and all PBXN-109 requirements. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL ONLY CONSIDER PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FROM THE TABLE VI, PBXN-109 APPROVED VENDORS, ISOPHORONE DIISOCYANATE VENDORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION MIL-DTL-82886A. Material shall be shipped in 55-gallon drums with anti-static liners. Metal drums shall be new, palletized and banded. Lots shall not be mixed on pallets.
