The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered business that can provide the following: Vacuum Decay Leak Test Support Service. This announcement is for information and planning purpose only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential (SAM) Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. NAICS CODE: 541380 – Testing Laboratories and Services PSC: H981 – Other Qc/Test/Inspect – Containers, Packaging, and Packing Supplies SIZE STANDARD: $16.5M DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This service contract is limited to the current vacuum decay leak test equipment, designed by a CAAA mechanical engineering technician, using a Z-axis 3322-18H 1 Leak Tester 801-26A-1000. This service contract is to determine if the leak test system, process/technique, and leak test standards are satisfactory for the application intended. The service contract requires an NDT report from the Level III Nondestructive Tester once service is rendered. See attached draft Performance Work Statement for further details.
