The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on behalf of CPE ES2, has awarded a sole-source, decentralized IDIQ enterprise contract to Pegasystems Inc. for Pega software enterprise subscriptions, direct OEM Tier-3 technical support, and outcome-based professional services. The agreement supports enterprise-wide business process management, low-code application development, AI-driven decisioning, and case management across the U.S. Army and Department of War. The sole-source award is justified by Pegasystems’ proprietary ownership of the platform’s source code, rules engine, and visual low-code framework. The contract has a maximum cumulative ceiling of $419,008,835.54 across a five-year base ordering period and a five-year optional ordering period.
