The U.S. Army is conducting market research for the development of an Arresting Cable Release Mechanism (ACRM) for the Mine Clearing Line Charge. It seeks innovative and mature components or integrated solutions capable of automatically severing a specific 3/4-inch nylon rope under approximately 1,000 lbs of tension. The ACRM Integrated Product Team will review white paper responses to this Request for Information.
