The Government is seeking to acquire the following: The Ammonium Perchlorate (AP), white granular, crystalline solid having a minimum purity of 98.0%, a normal content of 0.2% tricalcium phosphate (TCP) as a conditioner, and a nominal particle size of 200 microns. AP shall be virgin material and meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-32103, and Weapon Specification (WS) 18485A Material Specification Ammonium Perchlorate (For use in PBX Explosives). Within this MILSPEC, AP shall conform to all references made to MIL-DTL-32103, WS 18485A, and AFX-757. Ammonium Perchlorate shall be packaged in 500-pound containers. Due to the importance of the particle size distribution of AP, and the material’s natural tendencies to absorb moisture, causing clumping/caking/deliquescence, the AP shall be subjected to granulation requirements of WS 18485A, Table II, and MIL-DTL-32103, for each lot of material provided to the Government. For purposes of inspection, a lot of material shall consist of material manufactured in one contiguous operation unless the material has been homogeneously blended together. All material blended together during one batch of blending shall be deemed one lot. Guaranteed Minimum: 36,000 pounds. ALL DELIVERIES SHALL INCLUDE A PACKING LIST; CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMANCE; CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS; MSDS; AND HAZARDOUS WARING LABEL. FOB: Destination SPEC NR: WS 18485A PSC CD: 6810 Additionally, It is requested that with your response your firm provide production and delivery timeframes alongside quantity ranges. The government is seeking to award a contract with deliveries commencing July 01, 2025 a minimum delivery of 36,000 pounds on a weekly basis. This is not a request for proposals, please do not reply.
