The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered business who have the capability to provide annual and bi-annual calibration services to an estimate of 3500 gages. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue or award a contract. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential SAM Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. NAICS CODE: 811210 Electronic & Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance PSC: J066 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuild of Equipment – Instruments & Laboratory Equipment DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Gage Calibration – Annual Services Quantity: 3000-3300 each Gage Calibration – Bi-Annual Services Quantity: 150 each An estimate between 3000 and 3300 each Gages shall be calibrated annually, with an estimate of 150 each Gages calibrated bi-annually. The Contractor shall prepare and submit an accredited, endorsed calibration certificate for each item calibrated, in addition to a sticker/ label indicating the gage ID, date calibrated, and the next scheduled date for calibration. The contractor shall be able to respond to unforeseen and urgent requirements in a timely manner within 24-48 hours. NOTE: These are EXTREMLY rare occurrences. Additional service information can be found in Attachment 0001 – PWS for RFI, titled A02 Gage Calibration – PWS. A list of the gages/ equipment to be calibrated is included with this sources sought as Attachment 0002, titled Gage Equipment List. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes: The requested period of performance for this service is 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2027. This includes a base year and one option year. The following information is requested in response to this posting: Company Name, Address, SAM Unique Entity ID/Cage Code, current business size (E.G. Small or Large business) Brief synopsis of interest and capability statement indicating the offeror can meet the requirement needs.
