COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION IAW FAR 12.603 (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the (IAW) format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W519TC-24-R-2068. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register online at www.SAM.gov . (3) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05. (4) This requirement is full and open competition. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 331314 and the Business Size Standard is 750. (5) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item(s): CLIN: 0001 ITEM: ALUMINUM POWDER, SPHERICAL, TYPE IV UNIT OF MEASURE: POUND QUANTITY: 938,400 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331314 Secondary Smelting and Alloying of Aluminum. This procurement action is to the procurement of Aluminum Powder Spherical, Type IV; utilized in explosive mixtures. The U.S. Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price one-year period of performance Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from the subject solicitation. Any supplies and services to be furnished under the subject contract shall be ordered by the issuance of Delivery Order(s) IAW DFARS 252.216-7006 and funding will be provided at that time. The Federal supply code of this procurement is 6810 – Chemicals. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL ONLY CONSIDER PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FROM THE TABLE VI. PBXN-109 APPROVED VENDORS, ALUMINUM POWDER, SPHERICAL, TYPE IV VENDORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION MIL-DTL-82886A. Period of Performance: Date of Award Through 12 Months Guaranteed Minimum Quantity: 40,800 lbs. Minimum Order Quantity for the Life of Contract: 40,800 lbs. Estimated Maximum Quantity for the life of the contract: 938,400 lbs. (6) Description of Requirement: The first Delivery Order on the Base Contract will be for the guaranteed minimum quantity of 40,800 lbs. No railroad delivery will be acceptable for Delivery Orders. Delivery Orders will be in multiples of 40,800 lbs. to 81,600 lbs. to be delivered four (4) times per month. All Offerors shall submit Certificate of Conformance IAW 52.246-15, Certificate of Analysis IAW Addendum to FAR 52.212-4, Material Safety Data Sheets IAW 52.223-3, and Hazardous Warning Label IAW 252.223-7001 and references IAW.
