This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will have all the necessary documents, including a scope of work. IAW FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The scope of work for this project consists of providing all services, labor, material, supervision, equipment, tools necessary to accomplish the removal of existing pavements, sidewalk, storm sewer, retaining walls and loading docks. The scope of work includes the following: Grade the existing parking lot area of Building 333 and Hobbs Street. Place 6” of modified subbase and lay 2-3” inch lifts of HMA. Place 6” modified subbase and pour a 6” P.C.C. curb and gutter along the perimeter of Building 333’s parking lot. Remove and replace an existing light pole in the parking lot Building 333. Remove and replace an existing 8” water main along Hobbs Street. Remove the existing P.C.C./steel/limestone retaining walls. Place a P.C.C. retaining wall and a reinforced 7” P.C.C. loading dock ramp adjacent to Building 333 on Hobbs Street. Place a safety railing along the perimeter of the proposed retaining wall. Install footing drains along the proposed retaining wall. Adjust existing utility boxes and manholes to finish grade. Remove the existing fire hydrant located near the intersection of Hobbs Street and Rodman Avenue. Remove, relocate, and place a new fire hydrant near the northeast corner of Building 334. Grade the existing green space to the east of Building 333’s parking lot. Hydro seed, mulch and fertilize all disturbed green space areas. Plant trees. Pour a 6” P.C.C. sidewalk with 6”x6” welded wire fabric along Rodman Avenue. Place American with Disabilities (ADA) sidewalk ramps. Stripe the parking lot. Place a traffic loop detector at the intersection of Rodman Avenue and the east parking lot entrance of Building 333.
