This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forthcoming and will have all the necessary documents to include the full Scope of Work. It is anticipated the solicitation will be released on or about July 26,2024. IAW FAR 36.204 (f) the rough order of magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The scope of this project consists of providing all labor, material, and equipment to repair by replacement the Emergency Lighting Systems and Components in Building 299 located at the US Army Garrison, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The bid work includes repairs to the emergency lighting and normal lighting. Two existing lighting control systems will be modified to exclude control of all interior lighting. A new lighting control system will be installed for all interior lighting. A central battery system will be installed to power the new emergency lighting. The Contractor will be required to commence work under this contract within 14 days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the Scope of Work in 365 calendar days.

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this sources sought notice for the Repair by Replacement the Emergency Lighting Systems and Components in Building 299 located at the US Army Garrison, Rock Island Arsenal. This will be a Design-Build process. The base bid work includes repairs to the emergency lighting and normal lighting. Two (2) existing lighting control systems will be modified to exclude control of all interior lighting. A new lighting control system will be installed for all interior lighting. A central battery system will be installed to power the new emergency lighting. The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within 14 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the Scope of Work in 730 calendar days. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government.
