This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forthcoming and will have all the necessary documents to include the full Scope of Work. It is anticipated the solicitation will be released on or about May 17, 2024. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 36.204(f), the rough order of magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The scope of this projects consists of furnishing design drawings, design specifications, labor, equipment and material to repair by replacement the existing water main from the water treatment plant (WTP) to the distribution system, install a redundant connection from the WTP to the water distribution system, construct water main changes to support the work, and construct the internal plumbing changes in the WTP to support the redundant feed pipes on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within 14 days after the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the Scope of Work in 270 Working days.
