This is a Request for Information (RFI). This Request is for planning purposes, and shall not be construed as a solicitation announcement, invitation for bids, request for proposals, request for quotes, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. Interested contractors are invited to provide responses to the questions provided. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with the submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to the interested parties for responses. This Request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. The information provided may be used by the Army in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work / performance work statements, and/or statement of objectives. Interested parties are responsible to adequately mark proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response accordingly. Purpose: The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment and ACC-RI are requesting a review of the attached Draft PWS, Section L&M and HTRO Self-Scoring matrix for a potential Global Protective Services (GPS) Program. Objective: The objective of the RFI is to gather input and recommendations to improve the PWS in terms of clarity and completeness, obtain information on the feasibility of the requirement, and suggested improvements to best practices that can improve the overall quality of the attached Draft PWS, Section L&M and HTRO Self-Scoring matrix. When providing feedback, please provide the Document and the specific section number along with the following, as applicable: - Detailed description of the requested edit or clarification. - Explanation of the rationale for the requested change. - Suggested alternate wording or changes, as applicable.
