ANSWER 1: Yes, it has a guard. QUESTION 2: Will the Mulcher be going through any rock? ANSWER 2: No QUESTION 3: Would you like us to price out a new thumb? The thumb you have will not match the bucket; the thumb body will be too short. ANSWER 3: Quick connect buckets/attachments are not required. When the mulcher is installed the thumb will be pinned back on the boom. The solicitation has been extended. ANSWER 2: The required mulcher should weigh 2100 Lbs. with a cutting width of 46 inches and a cutting capacity of up to 10 inches of material with 17 cutting knifes on the rotor. The minimum required continuous gallon per minute flow of hydraulic fluid should be 33 (GPM). QUESTION 3: Does machine have a hydraulic thumb?
