Question: Can you ask if the machine can be delivered for installation? Answer: Per the SOW, The government shall be responsible for delivery and pick up of the government owned excavator within a 100 mile radius of Pine Bluff Arsenal. US Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, Munitions and Industrial Base Division – CCRI-AIE 1. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby requests a quote for a Shearex Vertical Axe Mulcher model VM-50SR and a Werk-Brau D Lock Hydraulic Coupler and installation to a Volvo EC220EL Excavator at Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA), in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 001 “Mulcher SOW”. 3. Solicitation W519TC-24-Q-0039 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), being awarded using full and open competition, in accordance with (IAW) FAR 12.6. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being released in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. 4. The following NAICCS code and small business size standard apply: NAICS: 562119: Other Waste Collection Size Standard: $47 M 5. Contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR 13.106-3 to the responsive and responsible contractor that is the lowest price that is determined fair and reasonable and meets the terms and conditions of this solicitation. 6. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Competitive Acquisition, and any addenda to this provision.
