This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will have all the necessary document, including a scope of work. IAW FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000.000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The Scope of this project consists of furnishing labor, equipment and material to realigh, fully repave and update the Beck Avenue corridor and the southern portion of 2nd street. The project is located along Beck Avenue from the east side of Building 164 and ending at the East Street on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The premise for this project is to remove the existing pavement outlined in the plans, realign Beck Avenue and 2nd Street, re-grade, install new storm sewer including the storm sewer to pump station 9 and place new pavement. Beck Avenue and 2nd Street along with all side street and entrance connections shall be 9-inch Portland Cement Concrete with reinforcement at the joints with a 6-inch curb and gutter at 30-inch width, place on a 12-inch modified subbase. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing storm sewer from Beck Avenue to the existing pump station located off of Benet Avenue. Removal, relocation and replacement of the existing security fence. Six (6) inch subdrain tile shall be installed along the gutter line and tied into new storm intakes. Existing storm drainage shall be removed and replaced. The finish grade shall receive 6" of topsoil and hydro seed, fertilizer and mulch. Ths project shall be constructed using the Iowa State Urban Design and Specifications Program (SUDAS) 2023.
