The federal supply code of this procurement is 8140 – Ammunition and Nuclear Ordnance Boxes, Packages, and Special Containers The NAICS Code for this procurement is 321920 – Wood Container and Pallet Manufacturing. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in the manufacturing of wood pallets, wood box shook, wood boxes, other wood containers, and wood parts for pallets and containers. The Government contemplates awarding a one-time Firm Fixed Price Contract. Supply Description: Bradley Reactive Armor Tile Wooden Boxes in accordance with Statement of Work, Attachment 0001, dated 22 September 2022 and associated drawings. The Statement of Work and information on accessing the drawings shall be included with the release of the solicitation. Quantities are as follows: M3A2 wood box – Quantity 1,300 each M4A2 wood box – Quantity 1,400 each M5A2 wood box – Quantity 8,100 each M6A1 wood box – Quantity 900 each M7A1 wood box – Quantity 700 each Place of Performance: Blue Grass Army Depot 431 Battlefield Memorial Highway Richmond, Kentucky 40475 United States This procurement will be 100% set aside for small business. FOB Destination. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/ or contact SAM at 866-606-8220 prior to doing business with the DOD. Approximate issue date of the solicitation is 25 January 2023 with a closing date of approximately 30 days from the date of issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the internet at http://sam.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the Sam.gov website and is the contractor’s responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
