June 27 2024 Update: This solicitation is planned to be released during the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2024. The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems, intends to issue a Section 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for production of 105mm Wood Boxes. This contract will be issued via the Small Business Association’s (SBA’s) Section 8(a) Program; the projected value of this effort is $43,074,845.60. The contract will be composed of five (5) one (1) year ordering periods. The intended contract will be Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-EPA) and will support FY24-29 requirements. Funds are available for this acquisition. This notice of intent is NOT a FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) and is only a Synopsis for the acquisition and production of the 105mm Wood Boxes.
