The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered business that can provide the following: Shipping and Storage Container: PA19 Assembly. This announcement is for information and planning purpose only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential (SAM) Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. NAICS CODE: 33243 PSC: 8140 SIZE STANDARD: 1,500 employees DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Newly Manufactured PA19 Ammunition Container IAW DWG 8865541. Contractor must be able to meet POP Testing requirements. Drawings are available at Attachments 01-21. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible SAM Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by emailing the requirement information below to the point of contact listed on this announcement. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes: Company Name, Address, SAM Unique Entity ID/CAGE Code, current business size (e.g. Small or Large business) Please provide capability information to show that you have provided or can provide Ammunitions Containers similar to the PA 19 Ammunition Container. Also provide supporting documentation to indicate your companies ability to perform the POP Testing or can meet the POP Testing requirements. Rough Order Magnitude of cost to manufacture these containers. Cost must include POP Testing Point of contact information including name, phone number and email address.
