Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential (SAM) Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. NAICS CODE: 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance PSC: J036 – Industrial Products Install / Maintenance / Repair SIZE STANDARD: $11 Million DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Vendor is to provide Calibration and PC-DMIS software updates on Hexagon CMM Macines when required. The services will be required on eight (8) Hexagon CMM machines located at Crane Army Ammunition activity (CAAA), Crane, IN. Some of the specifications include: 1) The calibration shall be performed per the American National Standard ASME B89 test method per ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540.1 and conform to the original manufacturer specifications. 2) The standards used by the contractor shall be traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). 3) The contractor conducting he calibrations shall be an ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) accredited calibration laboratory to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. 4) The contractor must be able to complete repairs on CMMs that cannot be calibrated because they are in need of repairs.
